Cotswold Cottage is just 15 minutes from the Pinnacles walking tracks and 5 minutes from the historical gold mining township of Thames, with a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and museums. Cotswold Cottage is the perfect place to stay to explore all the beautiful attractions on the Coromandel Peninsula, stunning scenery, spectacular coastline, history, beaches, fantastic sea and native bird life plus it's diverse arts and crafts. Cathedral Cove, the location for some of the filming of the new Narnia film, is one such place and well worth a visit. <<Things To Do>>
We really cannot emphasise enough, whether you stay here with us or move on, the fact that you need at least two nights on the Coromandel! But don't take our word for it ... this is what one of many guests has written "Schedule a minimum of 2 days (more if possible). Allow extra travel time to stop for great views and curvy roads."
