After a restful sleep and full breakfast you are picked up from Cotswold Cottage at 0900hrs.
Depart for Whitianga via Kopu/Hikuai highway visitng Tairua - a small seaside resort. Here Paku Hill dominates the harbour, the lookout is well worth the time with spreading native Pohutukawa trees (NZ's Christmas tree) which flowers spectacularly over November/December. Experience Coromandel's most spectacular scenery. stunning beaches and breathtaking coastal views, plus much more as we wend our way to Whitianga. 
At Whitianga, an iconic New Zealand beach side resort town situated on beautiful Mercury Bay, there is time to browse the shops or take a visit to the local museum before we depart from the Marina on "M.V. SEAQUIL" for Cathedral Cove sightseeing on the way ... Flaxmill Bay, Cooks Beach, Hahei Beach and more with lunch on board at anchor in this breathtaking environment.
On our return to Whitianga we board the coach for the picturesque drive to Coromandel township on sealed State Highway 25 via Matarangi Beach Resort.
At Coromandel Town, time dependant, choose between riding the narrow gauge railway up to Eyeful tower (1 hour round trip) with superb views, replanted Kauri forest, Driving Creek Potteries (offering unique art) or strolling around Coromandel Town steeped in pioneering history with local craft shops and having coffee - relax and enjoy!
Depart Coromandel for Thames via the Thames Coast Highway where one can almost touch the water as we follow the beautiful Hauraki Gulf arriving at Cotswold Cottage at approx 1800hrs.
Your driver/skipper/cook/bottle washer/guide, Michael Saunders will take care of your every need and is a 4th generation local resident of Thames.
Tour includes 2 nights accommodation with afternoon tea on arrival, full breakfast each morning and tour/cruise as detailed above.
