Spread across the upper floor of the cottage, the Neatherwood Suite is the most expansive and indulgent accommodation we offer. Named after a stretch of Coromandel countryside that Adrienne and Garth have long admired, it captures the soul of the landscape in every detail — from the wide sash windows framing the hills to the earthy tones of the hand-selected furnishings.
At its heart is a king-sized bed dressed in Egyptian cotton, set against a feature wall of locally sourced timber. A private sitting area with two deep leather armchairs invites you to slow down, read, or simply watch the light change over the valley. In the evenings, a small writing desk offers the perfect spot to compose your thoughts — or a letter home.
The en-suite bathroom is finished in honed stone tile and features a deep freestanding soaking bath, a separate walk-in rainfall shower, heated towel rails, and a full suite of Aesop toiletries. Complimentary port and a local cheese selection are placed in the room on arrival.
A full cooked breakfast — prepared fresh each morning by your hosts — is served in the dining room between 7:30 and 9:00 am. Guests are welcome to take coffee or tea to the veranda.
